Look who I ran into. Mr. Pat Cash himself.

This is only the second time I went to the Australian Open, but it sure isn't the last. The atmosphere is fantastic, the players are great, and there is always an odd chance or two that you will run into you favourite player. As I said, I was lucky enough to see Hicham and speak to him again. I also got autographs from Nicolas Escude, James Blake, Mariano Zabaleta, Felix Mantilla, Younes El Aynaoui and Gustavo Kuerten. Last year I was nowhere near as lucky. I don't want to be greedy, but I'm hoping for some more next year. We'll see. I'll keep you up to date. No worries.

James was busy signing autographs, but he still stopped so we can take a picture.

In 2 days that Jackie and I were at The Open, we saw some fantastic matches. Our favorite was Mariano Zabaleta vs Felix Mantilla. They were both amazing, but at the end, Mantilla was better. Anyway, as I mentioned already, I enjoy taking pictures of tennis players so, we spent quite a bit of time at the practice courts waiting for our favourite players. We were quite lucky. Here are some of the pictures that we took.

I already mentioned the players that gave me thier autographs. There were quite a few that were willing to do so (Andy Roddick, Mark Philippoussis, Sebastien Grosjean), it's just that I was standing at the wrong spot. However, some players were quite stuck up and didn't care much for the fans: Monica Seles, Kim Clijsters, Lleyton Hewitt, Thomas Enqvist....Well this is just a tip for you. Don't even bother asking these few.
